Security Notice: Fraudulent Websites Impersonating TITAB Australia
It has come to our attention that fraudulent, imposter websites are appearing in online search results provided by search engines such as Google. Links provided by the search engine can direct you to those imposter sites, which pose as TITAB Australia Cabler Registry Services.
These sites have been designed to closely resemble our official website and are attempting to intercept our web traffic — potentially to harvest personal information, to distribute altered versions of our forms, or to falsely request registration fees.
To avoid communicating accidentally with these imposters, you should not use a search engine to reach the official TITAB website when applying for or renewing your cabler registration. Enter the full web address manually into your browser, or save our site as a bookmark. Further guidance is set out below.

The only official and legitimate website for TITAB Australia Cabler Registry Services is www.titab.com.au.
How TITAB actually operates
Knowing how we work is the simplest way to recognise a fake.
All registration, renewal and payment with TITAB is handled by downloading our forms, completing them and returning them to us directly. Our website does not have a member login, an online application process, or an online payment facility — and never has.
Any website that asks you to create an account, log in, apply online or pay by card is not TITAB.
How to protect yourself
Do not rely on a search engine to find us. When applying for or renewing your registration, do not reach our website through a search engine. Type www.titab.com.au directly into your browser's address bar, or bookmark it and use that bookmark every time. A listing that appears at the top of search results is not necessarily the legitimate one.
Always check the address bar. Before downloading any form, using the Cabler Search function or entering any details, check the web address in your browser. It must read exactly https://www.titab.com.au or https://titab.com.au.
Only download forms from our website. Registration and renewal forms should only ever be downloaded from the "Forms" tab on titab.com.au. Forms obtained anywhere else may have been altered — including the details you are asked to return them to.
Do not engage with other sites. If you arrive from a search result and the web address does not match titab.com.au, close the window immediately. Do not enter any registration numbers, personal details or financial details.
Be cautious with emails
You may also receive emails that appear to come from TITAB but do not.
Check the sender's address, not just the name. All genuine email from us ends in @titab.com.au. A sender name can be set to anything, so check the full address itself — addresses that are close but not exact are a common tactic.
Be wary of any email asking you to renew, apply or pay online. We do not operate that way. An email directing you to a website to log in, submit your details or make a payment did not come from us.
Treat unexpected attachments and forms with caution, particularly any that ask you to send completed forms or payments to details different from those published on our website.
If in doubt, don't reply and don't click. Contact our office directly using the details below and we will confirm whether the correspondence is genuine.
What TITAB has done
We are treating this matter with the utmost seriousness. We have reported the imposter websites to Google Safe Browsing to have the search results removed, and have escalated the matter to the relevant Australian government cyber security authorities, including Scamwatch (ACCC). We are continuing to monitor search results until the listings are fully removed.
