TITAB is continuously working with registered training organisations across Australia to assist and support the implementation of new training programs. They also provide advice and support to the telecommunications industry.
As part of its service to the industry, TITAB has created a list of registered training organisations who are currently delivering telecommunications training across Australia. This list details those who deliver open registration, restricted registration and endorsement training.
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has authorised TITAB to provide Registered Assessors to assess telecommunications competency standards. This is part of the statutory obligations and licensing requirements.
TITAB assessors can help experienced cablers with advice on recognition of prior learning (RPL) and training pathways within the telecommunications industry.
TITAB in conjunction with Integracom and other industry professionals offer a range of resource material that is recognized by training organisations nationally.
Student learner guides for individual competencies, module pathways, combined competencies and full qualifications are currently available.

In the cabler training and registration sector, there needs to be clarity about the programs available for training cablers and which programs apply to which types of candidates.
The pathways chart brings together existing programs in a cohesive framework of training that optimises access to training and registration for all types of candidates.
